Feint and Disengage

When feinting, the tip of your blade should not pass the guard of your opponent's blade. If it does, then you have already committed to the action and should carry on with the attack. If, however, your feint is successful, you should disengage (evade the opponent's blade in such a way that you can then hit your opponent when his blade "absent"). Your disengage should be small, so that you only use your fingers to move the blade. This will make your action smaller and quicker. If you time it right, you should have the touch.
